Manchester Metropolitan University and Unite Students have appointed GRAHAM to redevelop the Cambridge Halls student campus, delivering 2,302 new bedrooms through demolition of existing buildings and construction of two multi-storey blocks in two phases.

The University’s Ivy Corridor project, spanning 14.5 acres at Emmet Street and Ivy Road, includes two six-story upperclassmen housing buildings with 750-800 beds, approved in February 2025 with a $160 million budget to address an 81% rise in upperclassmen housing demand since 2021; completion is targeted for the 2027-2028 academic year.
