All towns and cities have their traditions and one way for students to successfully integrate is to get on board with them. Perhaps that means avid sports fans get a season ticket to their local football team or maybe their local area puts on an iconic annual festival – following the local calendar and traditions is a great way to learn more about their new home and joining in will help cultivate a sense of belonging.
