Nottingham city councillors have approved an 18-storey tower block near the railway station after sending previous plans back to the drawing board over design concerns. MRP Nottingham Ltd had initially asked to build a 22-storey block at the junction of Queen’s Road and London Road.

Glasgow City Council has given the green light for a £95m multi-use residential development in Calton. Plans have been approved for Collegelands Park, which will feature two new student accommodation blocks with 591 beds in total, along with 147 apartments for rent and a new arts centre.

Plans to turn a disused mill building in the New Basford area of Nottingham into a 136-bedroom student accommodation scheme have been given the go-ahead. Dave Landa of JGM submitted the plans for 490 Radford Road back in December 2023.
