Plans to build a large student accommodation block on a vacant plot within a Stoke Gifford retail park have moved a step forward with the submission of a formal planning application. The move follows a round of pre-application community engagement that took place in February and March this year.

Puma Property Finance provides its third PBSA development facility to the Glenmore Group. The 152-bed development is situated in the heart of Dundee, a few minutes from the city’s two universities and its vibrant centre.

Aston University has unveiled plans for a sprawling new ‘innovation cluster’ in Birmingham city centre. The project will develop teaching facilities, offices, accommodation, and hospitality venues across a huge area surrounding Aston University.

It is understood to be planning to demolish existing Bankside House halls next to the Tate Modern gallery to make way for a larger complex. The university revealed the plan as it launched the hunt for a joint venture development partner to steer the plans for the £400m project.
