Investec Bank has provided a £19.25m senior development loan to Barwood Capital for a 233-bed student accommodation project in Edgbaston, combining heritage refurbishment with new-build construction on the former St Chad’s Hospital site.

Fifteen units at One Islington Plaza, a purpose-built student accommodation scheme in Liverpool city centre, are on sale. The portfolio includes three studios and 12 cluster flats within a 317-unit development completed in 2019 and held on a 250-year lease from 2016.
