Planning permission has been granted to demolish two Limerick businesses, A&R Supplies and Spirit Memorials, to develop a 17-apartment purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) building offering 115 bed spaces near Limerick School of Art and Design’s Clare Street campus.

The Student Housing Foundation (SSH), one of the Netherlands’ largest student housing providers, has formalized its commitment to develop around 2,000 student units in Eindhoven, addressing the city’s growing housing shortage and supporting regional growth ambitions alongside local partners.

Construction is officially underway on UC Berkeley’s most ambitious student housing project in recent memory, and one that will permanently reshape the city’s skyline. Winvic Construction has completed Crown Place, Birmingham’s tallest student accommodation tower, delivering 814 beds across studios, cluster flats, and duplex rooms, with occupancy starting January 2026.

Endeavor Real Estate Group, based in Austin, Texas, has begun construction on Juniper, a $115.41 million, 294-unit student housing project near the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, marking the company’s first development in Arkansas. The 1,009-bed, seven-story complex is scheduled to open in summer 2028, targeting Razorback students with a range of living accommodations.
