A 511-vehicle parking lot will be constructed on the University of Alabama in Huntsville campus to accommodate a nearby private student housing development. The parking lot will be south of Holmes Avenue and west of Jordan Lane.

To tackle the persistent problem of student homelessness, Cerritos College is seeking state grant funding to build affordable on-campus student housing through the Higher Education Student Housing Grant Program.
