Plans for up to 160 homes and student accommodation on the site of a former Fife secondary school have been approved. Councillors unanimously agreed the application for a mixed-use development at the Kilrymont Road site, previously occupied by Madras College.

Far East Orchard has acquired a 180-bed freehold student accommodation property in the UK for GBP13.9 million ($22.9 million). The sale and purchase agreement (SPA) was entered into by Far East Orchard’s wholly-owned subsidiary, IUKSeven, and Empiric Limited on Dec 8.

The property will be developed, managed, and operated by CA’s in-house PBSA management company, Novel Student.
