Plans have been unveiled to build new student accommodation at a vacant site on Aberdeen's John Street. City-based firm Levelling Up Real Estate initially hoped the £60 million development could feature a mix of flats, build to rent private apartments and student accommodation. But architecture firm Halliday Fraser Munro confirmed it was only pressing ahead with the student flats.

One of Bristol’s most historic and biggest music shops has unveiled plans to demolish the building and create a new store, gig and event space in its place - with a 175-room student accommodation block on top.
