The new student accommodation scheme will have 252 beds (in studios and cluster units) on the corner of Matilda Street and Eyre Street in the city centre. The building will come with amenities such as student hubs, cycle storage, laundry, gym, private dining, private study room, outdoor terraces and staff facilities.
Plan for student housing in place of new homes set to be approved
Plans for student housing at a site previously earmarked for homes have been recommended for approval. The Vita Group plans with CDA architects and Turley are for student accommodation for 267 at New Waverley North in Edinburgh in place of a previously approved proposal for 90 build to rent homes.
McLaren Property Bournemouth flats plans approved by council
McLaren Property got the go ahead from BCP Council for its scheme on Hinton Road, at the former Westover Garage site. Featured in the approved proposals are 161 bedrooms with 170 bedspaces, in the form of 157 studios and 13 adoptable twodios.
