A new high-density flexible accommodation project is being proposed for South Brisbane, with Renovo Solutions seeking approval for a 29-storey mixed-use development at 37 Cordelia Street designed by Australian architecture practice FK.

RMIT University and Scape by The Living Company are investing over $270 million in the State Library Exchange, a mixed-use development above Melbourne’s State Library Station that will combine nine levels of university learning facilities with 46 levels of student accommodation, set to open from 2029.
