Finalists have been announced across all 15 categories of the Global Student Living Awards for the UK & Ireland, and 11 categories for Europe.
The Global Student Living Awards are based exclusively on direct feedback from over 100,000 students surveyed about their experience, making them uniquely credible and highly prized industry accolades.
A total of 31 different universities and operators have made the shortlists in the UK & Ireland. Student Castle Property Management leads the private operators, having been shortlisted in six categories including Best Private Housing. The University of Derby is the lead teaching institution, having also made the shortlist in six different categories including Best University Housing.
Hello Student and Host have each achieved five shortlistings in the UK & Ireland, including Best Learning Environment for Talbot Point in Nottingham and Shand House in Cardiff respectively.
Host are one of five operators shortlisted for the new Inclusivity Impact Award that recognises excellence in student accommodation delivery for more vulnerable student groups including disabled, neurodiverse, LGBTQ+ and ethnic minorities.
Queen Margaret University, Edge Hill University and University of Liverpool are each shortlisted for four awards, including Best University Housing.
Prime Student Living, Nurtur and Yugo are also on four UK & Ireland shortlists each, while Fresh has made the shortlist for three awards.
The University of Lincoln, Ulster University, University of Nottingham, Lancaster University, LIV Student, Study Inn and Nido Living are shortlisted for two UK & Ireland awards each.
Completing the list of 2024 finalists for the UK & Ireland are; Homes for Students, aparto, Novel Student, Campus Living Villages, Kaplan Living, University of Strathclyde, Optivo, Goodenough College, International Students House, Universal Student Living, Derwent Students, UWE Bristol and Luxury Student Homes.
In the European awards, Yugo have been shortlisted in eight different categories.
Novel and Nido Living have each achieved seven European shortlistings, followed by Collegiate AC Group with six and Student Experience with three.
Together, these five operators make up the shortlist for the headline Best Private Housing award.
CampusX have been shortlisted for three European awards while those operators making the shortlist for two award categories include Camplus, Student Depot, Xior Student Housing, Livensa Living, The Social Hub, Micampus, Neon Wood (for Neon Wood Frankfurt Riedberg), and THE FIZZ.
The full list of private operator finalists for Europe also includes Staytoo, Kley Student Residences, Basecamp, Resa and YOUNIQ.
Nido Living, Novel and Yugo are the only operators to be finalists in both the UK & Ireland and the European Awards.
The winners of the Global Student Living Awards will be announced at special awards ceremony on the evening of 17th October 2024 in London.
