About the Awards

The Global Student Living Awards are unique. We don’t take written nominations and there are no ‘expert’ judges.

All our awards are based 100% on direct feedback from tens of thousands of students around the world. This is what makes the awards so prestigious, and so highly sought after.

Universities, accommodation operators, partners and brands can participate in the Awards free of charge through the Global Student Living Index.

The GSL Awards Ceremony

In October of each year, the student accommodation community gather in London for the GSL Awards dinner, a night dedicated to celebrating excellence and impact across the sector.

Certification

  • While Awards recognise outstanding achievement in a specific area, GSL Certification is a rigorous evaluation designed to recognised and promote excellent all-round performance.
  • The assessment is based on 7 key structural and operational metrics, captured through the GSL Index, and certification marks are awarded to operators, operating brands and individual properties.
