Yugo has been appointed to manage a newly acquired 6,200-bed portfolio by Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Global Student Accommodation, marking the largest U.S. student housing transaction of 2025 and expanding Yugo’s managed assets to 86 properties with 40,000 beds across 29 states.

Heriot REIT has commenced construction of The Fibonacci, a nine-storey student accommodation development near UCT, Damelin, and CPUT in Cape Town, offering 574 units with integrated amenities including retail, co-working spaces, parking, gym, rooftop terrace, and padel courts.
