Treo Group secured a $53 million construction loan to add a student housing development next to the South Miami Metrorail Station, property records show. The 13-story development is part of the Vox Miami complex and will feature 163 units with 400 beds, plus about 13,000 square feet of retail space at 5949 SW 72nd Street. 

Sama Investments has submitted a planning application for a 238-bed student scheme on the former Goods Yard, as part of a phased redevelopment of The Arcadian Centre.

Unite Students starts the next stage of its 719-bed Stratford property after signing build contract. Work is starting on the construction phase of Hawthorne House, which is replacing a former office block, with total development costs estimated at £185million.
