Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing's open-ended core fund is in exclusivity to buy two new student housing blocks in Barcelona. According to sources at Mipim, MSREI's Prime Property Fund Europe is investing at a yield of approximately 4.75%, in a circa €150 mln transaction. The vendor is Vita Living.

Thor Equities Group and Vesper Holdings have formed a joint venture student housing platform to be called Thor Vesper. The joint venture will be led by Managing Director of Student Accommodations, Christian Davis, who is based in Thor’s London office.
