Glasgow University plans to develop a new PBSA scheme at the current Anderson College site. The redeveloped scheme will comprise 460 PBSA beds, which have been planned as part of a partial demolition of Anderson College.

The Annex Group has broken ground on a new student housing community at the University of Memphis, in Memphis, Tenn. The community will be part of the Park Avenue Campus, also the future location of Tiger Park, an integrated academic and athletic facilities complex being planned by the University.
Maryland Route 1 to get another student apartment building
A Texas-based development company is planning to build a mixed-use housing complex at the site of the former Campus Village Shoppes. The development will add a privately-owned student housing option to the current selection of apartments along Route 1 in College Park. The project is expected to open in fall 2027.
Student flats on former Glasgow church site approved despite objections
Permission was given to create student accommodation at the corner of Kelbourne Street and Queen Margaret Drive. The North Kelvinside building will be five to seven stories tall and contain 134 beds, along with a gym, two roof terraces, a games room and cycle parking. The flats will be managed by student home operator This Is Fresh.
Unite Students to build iconic property in east London
Unite Students has acquired a key site in Stratford, east London, after receiving full planning approval to build a 952-bed property. The 41-storey tower will include roof terraces and state-of-the-art facilities including a gym, and open for the start of the 2028/29 academic year.
Developer unveils plan to build 20-storey tower block for 150 students
Cavendish & Gloucester has drawn up proposals to provide purpose-built accommodation for more than 150 students on a brownfield site at Millbrook Road East. The scheme, which aims to ease the shortage of student housing in the city, includes communal spaces, a study area, and a gymnasium.
Downing submits planning for London’s Armoury Way PBSA
Liverpool-based firm Downing plans to transform a 5,739 sqm brownfield site in South London into two ten-storey PBSA towers and a commercial development. The scheme has capacity to house up to 434 students.
