D’Youville University has announced plans for a new student housing project at 443 West Avenue in Buffalo, scheduled to break ground in January 2026.

CRG and co-developer Shapack Partners have closed on the site and secured full construction financing for Chapter Ann Arbor, a 19-story, 183-unit (625-bed) high-rise student housing development in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The property will feature 625 beds across 183 units. Construction is slated to begin in August, with completion anticipated in time for the 2027-2028 academic year.

The university will add more apartment-style housing for students as officials say there has been “unprecedented demand for student housing” despite a steady decline in enrollment.
