Western University is planning to build two residences on-campus to accommodate thousands of potential new students expected to enroll within the next seven years. London is facing a housing crisis impacting residents and students alike, with few units available at affordable prices.

Trent University has leased property for Residence Development Corporation (RDC) to build and operate an upper-year student housing building with approximately 215 beds near the Symons Campus in Peterborough announced on Wednesday.

Chicago-based CA Ventures is moving forward with a proposed 25-story, 221-unit student housing project in the University District of Seattle. Located at 1205 NE 50th St., the site was purchased by CA Ventures in late 2021 for $16.5 million.

Luxury student housing developer Core Spaces hopes to further expand its footprint in downtown Madison with the addition of two more buildings.

The modular housing was fabricated off-site in a temperature-controlled factory by NRB Modular Solutions and is being transported to the site. Each of the 52 modules will be set on the foundation footprint by crane and joined together like building blocks to make one integrated building. Once the modules are in place, the joints will be sealed and weatherproofed.

Muinzer and T2 Capital Management recently acquired Basham Rentals in West Lafayette, Indiana. The acquisition includes the entire Basham Rentals student-housing portfolio of 33 properties adjacent to Purdue University.
