Landmark Properties together with W5 Group has closed on its acquisition of a 2-acre site in the University Hill neighborhood, one block from the northern border of the Syracuse University campus in Syracuse, New York.

Palladius Capital Management (“Palladius”), a vertically-integrated real estate investment manager focused on pursuing multifamily, student housing, hospitality, and select thematic investment strategies, today announced it completed the sale of The Oasis, a 672-bed student housing property located in the Austin, TX suburb of San Marcos.

Walker & Dunlop Inc. has provided a $285.5 million loan for the refinancing of Vantage and The View at Montgomery, two student housing properties located on Temple University’s campus in Philadelphia. The Class A communities total 1,816 beds.

Chicago-based Byline Bank’s Commercial Real Estate Group (BCREG) has closed on a $15.2 million loan with Campus Realty Advisors and T2 Capital.

UC Davis will break ground on a new residence hall next spring in the Segundo area, following approval this week by the UC Board of Regents. The $100 million project aims to address the growing demand for on-campus housing and commitments the campus has made with the city of Davis.

Officials at The Preiss Company (TPCO), one of the nation’s largest, privately-held, student housing owner-operators, today announced the acquisition of the 135-unit/251-bed 21 Pearl, off-campus student apartments serving the University of Texas at Austin.

Stonebridge Property Group, a Brooklyn-based firm with a student housing portfolio, bought the Oasis, a 672-bed student housing property at 1101 River Ridge Parkway, from Palladius Capital Management.

Camosun College has received funding approval from the provincial government for its first-ever student housing project. Construction plans include a six-storey, timber-frame building on the Lansdowne campus with 423 affordable beds. The building is expected to be ready for students from both campuses in fall 2027.

Audubon has purchased Scholar Birmingham, a 198-unit student housing high-rise in Birmingham’s Five Points neighborhood. The tower was developed as an off-campus student housing property in 2020 due to its proximity to University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).

Newmark has brokered the sale of Reflection, a student housing high-rise in Midtown Atlanta totaling 741 beds across 247 units. The Class A property is located at 111 John Wesley Dobbs Ave. NE, which is within walking distance of Georgia State University.
