JLL Capital Markets announced that it has arranged the joint venture equity for the development of two student housing communities: Signature on Varsity and Signature on Grand.

Earlier this week, Toronto-based Forum Asset Management published the Q4 2024 results for its Real Estate Income & Impact Fund (REIIF), simultaneously revealing that a student housing building Forum acquired last year is set to be repositioned under the REIIF.

Landmark Properties has closed on the acquisition of a 1.56-acre site at 134 N. Eagleville Rd., adjacent to the University of Connecticut’s (UConn) main campus in Storrs, CT. The firm will begin construction on The Mark Mansfield, a 738-bed student housing community, in late 2025.

Tiffin University announced plans for new housing that would hold around 450 students upon completion. According to a press release from the university, construction would be completed in two phases with the first phase beginning in January 2026.
