Developer Cassidy has put its proposed Chainey Place development on London Road in Nottingham up for sale for an asking price of £3.9m. The site has planning permission for both 122 private rented sector apartments or 245 purpose-built student accommodation beds.

The former Nottingham City Council library building, located on Angel Row, could undergo a major transformation as plans have been unveiled to convert it into a mixed-use development.

Blackstone has announced they have successfully closed on the refinancing of one of the major credit facilities of iQ Student Accommodation. The refinancing is part of the normal course of business ahead of the current facility reaching maturity in May 2025.

Plans for 190 new student rooms in Greenwich have been submitted, replacing the previous scheme to build flats on the site. Greenwich council has received an application to build the student digs in Woolwich Road, 35 per cent of which would be classed as ‘affordable’.
