MRP NUH Ltd, a development company associated with McAleer & Rushe, has been granted approval by Belfast City Council Planning Committee and elected members for a £80m purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme in Belfast city centre.

WUKPG has sold the 136-studio Tatton House on Hathersage Road on behalf of a syndicate of Chinese investors. Empiric Student Property has bought the purpose-built student accommodation scheme for £19.75m.

Schwartz Family Company, Australia’s largest private hotel owner, has signed on as a key investor in the redevelopment of London Paddington hotel in a partnership with Singapore-based private equity real estate firm Prima Asset Management.
