Far East Orchard is targeting to reach assets under management (AUM) of $3 billion in core assets by 2050, up from $2 billion in 2025. The group is also aiming to reach 25,000 rooms and 85,000 beds in five years’ time, up from its current 17,500 rooms and 55,000 beds as at November this year.

Fortis Vision completed a £12.5m redevelopment of four former office buildings into a 108-bed purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme in Leeds City Centre, delivering new studio apartments, amenity spaces, and study areas over 16 months.

Avenir Homes, a Longford-based construction firm, has secured a three-year extension to complete a student accommodation and residential development in Athlone, extending the deadline to August 2030.

Longford-based Avenir Homes, led by developer Mark Cunningham, secured planning approval for a mixed-use development in Westmeath, comprising 122 residential units, 283 student bedspaces, and a modern creche across Cartrontroy, Kilnafaddoge, Lissywollen, and Ardnaglug.

A purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme with ground-floor commercial space is heading to Birmingham City Council’s planning committee this Thursday.
