A proposed student housing redevelopment may be built on a stretch of West Tennessee Street near the city's Co-Cathedral of St. Thomas More. How likely the project is to ever being built remains to be seen.

Construction of Student Housing West rises near the intersection of Coolidge and Hagar drives at UC Santa Cruz. According to the university, the project will provide housing for about 3,000 students at two sites, which will be constructed in two phases.
