This month, the U announced a new P3 (public private partnership) agreement with American Campus Communities (ACC) to nearly double the number of on-campus housing units over the next decade.

Vesper Holdings has acquired 33 North, a 427-bed student housing community located near the University of North Texas in Denton. Built in 2013, the mid-rise property offers a mix of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units with bed-to-bath parity.

Plans have been unveiled for a new student village in Stoke-on-Trent. Staffordshire University said it planned to replace existing student accommodation on its main Leek Road campus, turning it into accessible parkland.

Berkadia has arranged the sale of The Rocks, a 376-bed student housing community located near the Michigan State University Campus in East Lansing, Michigan. The garden-style property was built in 2015 and is situated at 16970 Chandler Road.

A new 130-bed student block will be built by the river Sherbourne in Coventry after a vote by councillors. The scheme went to the council's planning committee after locals and community groups objected on the grounds it would be too tall.

Plans to redevelop student housing at the University of Chichester have been submitted to the district council. The application from Lichfields, on behalf of the university, seeks permission to replace ‘tired and low-density student housing’ at the Bishop Otter Campus, in Havenstoke Close.

Student housing asset manager Student Quarters paid $181 million to acquire HERE Atlanta, a 350-unit, 29-story tower at Spring Street. CA Ventures was the developer/seller of the tower, which opened in 2021. The project is two blocks east of Georgia Tech.
