Two new planning documents aimed at enhancing the quality of student accommodation and advancing the city’s carbon reduction goals have been passed by Nottingham City Council’s Executive Board.

Plans for a set of flats in Greenwich have been revised to include 190 student rooms instead. The project would see the new rooms, 35 per cent of which would be 'affordable', being added to the Woolwich Road site alongside public realm improvements and communal gardens.

Audubon has purchased Scholar Birmingham, a 198-unit student housing high-rise in Birmingham’s Five Points neighborhood. The tower was developed as an off-campus student housing property in 2020 due to its proximity to University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
