The Portland State University Board of Trustees approved a plan to build a new student housing complex with construction slated for Fall of 2028, working with an $85 million budget.

Beachrock has listed the Walnut Tree Close purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) development site in Guildford, Surrey. The planning consent is for a mix of different accommodation types made up of 268 (78%) en-suite cluster bedrooms and 77 studio bedrooms (22%). The site also includes a separate block of 54 affordable housing units of between one and three bedrooms.

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Patrick Hogan as Head of EMEA Living Capital Markets. He will succeed Stephen Screene who is relocating to the Middle East and joining a significant client in the region. 

Olympian Homes has been granted planning permission, subject to a planning agreement, for its St James House purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) and co-living scheme in Bristol. The company acquired the site in partnership with Cain International in October 2024.
