Plans exist for over a third of the intended number of student rooms needed by 2030, and most also have building locations. This was stated by Ardin Mourik, director of the National Action Plan for Student Housing. Last year, the Cabinet launched the National Action Plan for Student Housing.

A letter of intent has been signed by the university and private equity investment and management company, AAM15 Management, to build the housing on the east side of UVM’s main campus.

Core Spaces, Schenk Realty and Kayne Anderson Real Estate closed a $233.3M construction loan to finance development of Hub Knoxville. Spanning four acres, the project is the largest student development in Knoxville’s history.

The development lender Atelier has provided finance to specialist regeneration developer Rengen for four new schemes. Since February, Atelier has provided four separate loans this year, ranging from £2.7m to £7.3m to Rengen for a series of PBSA regeneration schemes with a Gross Development Value totalling £30.1m.
