Valpre Capital and Katch Investment Group have formed a joint venture to develop up to 1,500 student beds across the UK, starting with a 244-bed PBSA project, The Roc Club, in Elephant and Castle, London, in partnership with CKC Properties.

The plan shows five four-story buildings with 278 units and 630 bedrooms. Parking would be surface level, rather than in a garage, with 593 standard spaces, 23 compact spaces, 14 ADA spaces and 10 motorcycle/scooter spaces, bringing the total to 640 spaces.

Landmark Properties has submitted a planning application to Birmingham City Council for a 500-bedroom purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) development at 120 Suffolk Street, addressing a significant undersupply of student beds in the city.
