Developer Glasgow Enlightenment announced today that it has lodged a planning application with Glasgow City Council for Collegelands Park, following a successful three-month community consultation period. New images show how the development will look.

Plans for two skyscrapers for student accommodation in Birmingham city centre have been submitted. The development was intended to provide accommodation for nearly 2,000 students at the nearby Aston University and Birmingham City University, the application said.

Plans have been submitted to turn an A-listed building in North Glasgow into student accommodation. The plans, submitted to Glasgow City Council, state the developers would alter the existing building to create 410-bedroom student accommodation.

The board of trustees at Alabama State University approved plans for additional student housing. New residential apartments for students at Alabama State University will go up on Forest Avenue and South University Drive. Combined, the two buildings will house more than 550 students on campus.

The Purpose Built Student Accommodation will contain 264 student bedrooms, 30 affordable homes, nearly 11,000 sq ft of ground floor commercial space and new public realm enhancements located next to the famous Grade II-listed Roundhouse live performance venue.

Atelier has confirmed it is financing the development of a substantial PBSA scheme in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The £30.8m development finance loan has been provided to the Torsion Group, allowing the business to develop the PBSA scheme.
